

Edward I. Zwilling
Edward I. Zwilling is a partner in the firm and manages the Birmingham, Alabama, office for Schwartz Zweben LLP. As an esteemed personal injury lawyer with nearly a decade of experience, he is a valued member of the firm's litigation practice group. In addition to being an active member of the Bar in Alabama, he has been admitted to admitted to the United States District Court, Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama; United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas; and the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. Mr. Zwilling also practices pro hac vice in Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, and Washington. His particular areas of expertise include workers compensation, ADA litigation, fair housing, civil rights, product liability, personal injury, labor and employment, litigation appeals, divorce and child custody, wills and estates, Social Security, and civil litigation.
After earning a B.A from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1988, Mr. Zwilling went on to receive his J. D. from Samford University Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1992. Currently, he is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association and the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, National Conference of Law Reviews. A frequent speaker at seminars concerning workers compensation and disability discrimination, Mr. Zwilling is a Cordell Hull Legal Research and Writing Teaching Fellow and co-author of the article "Medicare Issues and the Closure of Future Medical Benefits," which appeared in the Winter-Spring, 2002, issue of Benefits Bugle.
